-	Between my BFA and BS, I studied Persian-Farsi at the Defense Language Institute during my service as a military intelligence ~~"voice~~ and signal communications interceptor and ~~analyst"~~ in the U.S. Army.	+	Among other jobs, he has worked as a cable television cameraman, construction worker, Alaskan fisherman, as well as a dishwasher and paperboy (both jobs with pretty good tips!).
